Halloween day

Halloween is celebrated on October 31 every year.  The day before All Hallows Day is called All Hallows Eve, which was shortened to Halloween.

The history of Halloween dates back to the Middle Ages when Halloween was celebrated for a completely different reason.  A look at how Halloween takes on its spooky connotations In the modern world, Halloween is celebrated by dressing up as fictional characters, performing cosplay, and indulging in candy and pumpkin pie.  However, this dates back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which was considered a harvest festival.

Some theories suggest that the Samhain festival has its roots in paganism.  Halloween is believed to blur the lines between the world of the living and the dead, so spirits will visit their loved ones. On this day, children dress up and visit other homes to trick or treat.  People decorate their homes with horror as the primary theme, play dress-up with pop culture references, and attend Halloween-themed parties with their friends.  Carving pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns is another important attraction of this festival.  It's this time of year that people from all over the world and of all ages love to trick or treat and enjoy a festive pumpkin spiced drink with friends.

Accordingly Halloween or All Hallows' Eve has something for all ages and is an annual celebration of all things spooky and scary.  On this day, kids and adults all over the world completely overturn the normal rules of polite society and indulge their more primal selves because Halloween is one special occasion that encourages people to let their freak flag fly high..!
